Advertising Age, February 26, 2008 — Arbitron and Nielsen Co. have pulled the plug on Apollo, one of the most ambitious, expensive and heavily hyped market-research programs in history.

Apollo aimed to determine once and for all how exposure to a wide variety of media and marketing tactics influence purchases by tracking consumers' combined media and purchasing habits in a single-source database.

Bar Patrons' Ad Recall (Surprisingly) Good

Ecast, Zoom Media Hope to Serve Up Even More

Advertising Age, August 8, 2007 — -- Here's one thing you might not expect to accompany a hangover: ad recall. A recent Arbitron study of bars and nightclubs found the average brand recall was 43% for an ad on the Ecast platform, an out-of-home ad-serving network available on 10,000 digital jukeboxes across the country.
